The real question is whether or not it's actually porn? Does a steamy sex scene in a movie constitute porn? Does a couple of naked bodies rubbing up against each other in a book equate to porn? I don't think so. But that's an opinion. I do think it's a bit ridiculous that people can be so adverse to a book sub-genre. But more than this, my real question is whether or not it's really just read by middle aged house wives. I read books like Fifty Shades and I'm only 27 and have no husband or kids. I don't fit the stereotype. They say it's written by house wives for house wives but that's just insane, right?
Truth is mummy porn as it's referred to is hardly the most controversial genre out there so really it shouldn't be the genre that gets beaten down quite as much as it does. It's a shame really because some of the books are pretty damn great.
