Now of course this list would never be complete without Christian Grey. He clearly has issues and he crosses lines I'd never let a man cross but you can't help wanting him. Perhaps it's the money, but I don't believe I'm that shallow so I have to think it's the powerful, dominant man of action thing he has going on. I certainly wouldn't say no to him tying me up.
We've all read a book from time to time and absolutely lost ourselves in the characters, plot lines and general feel of the book. But if you are anything like me, you've probably had crushes on some of those male leads... so here is a list of my favourite fictional fellas.
never forget how he said he loved Elizabeth against his better judgement. It's hard not to be angry with a man who attacks your pride but Lizzie handles him pretty well eventually. He is, in my opinion, the original Christian Grey or Gideon Cross... minus the childhood issues.
face with its power. He is just in a whole other league to many of the fictional characters we meet. He's real - or at least that's how he seems. His issues have a validity that is often missing when authors try to write about their characters deep rooted issues. And what's more, there is real character development going on. He wants to be a better man, which is always good.
He exudes sexual tension with his every word. I really do believe that Fifty Shades might be a book almost completely comprised of ridiculously hot one liners that can just cause you to melt.
pissed me off. Especially when he sided with everyone except his girlfriend. Seriously! What was up with that. Who was it who never betrayed you? Oh wait Tris... didn't get the message though, not until it was too late. Too sad. Sorry if I've just spoiled the movies for you but seriously read the books. I could probably list a few million more, but I don't think I want to. I want to keep them all to myself. I think the lesson I've learnt from this is I like my men dominant, slightly moody, somewhat arrogant, and they need a good sexy smirk. Why not join my mailing list and tell me what you go for in a leading man.
