The Hudson family were easy to love with all their quirky personalities. Those boys are seriously heavy handed and forceful, to the point of almost being ridiculous but it just makes them all so much more loveable. Reece Hudson is an alpha male like no other with all the over shoulder carrying. All the quotes I highlighted in my kindle app were his words to Sinclair. He was amazingly hot and romantic at the same time. When he said, "Fuck that, I'm not your mistake sweetheart, I'm your future." my heart raced.
Synclair and Reece's relationship was beautiful to witness; as it made me cry, smile, laugh and sigh. I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I adore romantic fiction as a general rule but this book was up there with some of my favourites in the genre. The book had a few more spelling and grammar errors than I'd usually be okay with, but on this occasion I couldn't care less because I loved the book so much.
If you like your romance novels with lots of juicy drama and angst and you love your male protagonists as alpha male as they come, and your heroines fiery with plenty of courage then this book is for you. There's more drama than a soup opera and the men often behave more like cavemen than gentlemen and Synclaire is anything but a damsel in distress.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
