This book had it all. Alpha male Tristan Blackwell was exactly what I wanted. A bit of a player, parting a bit too hard and genuinely FIT! A big thing in this book was Tristan's relationship with his family; it was honest and raw and completely heart wrenching. As if that's not enough the way that Cross manages to make friendship fucking hot is something to be impressed with. Seriously if I wanted to fuck a friend as much as Tristan and Becca want each other.... well let's just say I wouldn't have had their self control.
Becca is a pretty cool character too. She's funny, sarcastic and pretty much awesome. She's a little whimsy but that works. Just like in real life their issues threaten to pull them apart. It makes this book all the realer; it perfectly displays the need for trust in your relationships not to mention boundaries. We should all know where we stand.
How many stars would I give this book? Tots in for the five.
