2, Protagonist meets a love interest. Show your readers how right they could be for each other but they aren't ready yet. There is conflict.
3, Something happens to forces the characters to spend time together. Sexual Tension.
4, Characters goals might not match. What decision do the characters make that reflects their desire for each other?
Act Two - The protagonists react to the new desire, but suffer from one step forward and two steps back
5, Pinch Point - something happens that creates conflict. How does it affect their relationship?
6, Some visible sign of commitment are made but the characters' individual desire conflicts with the relationship.
7, Pinch Point #2 - something else happens and there is more conflict.
8, There is a crisis of some sort. It triggers the characters' fear about their relationship and they re-treat into themselves. They realise the relationship is doomed to fail. At least while ever it conflicts with both characters' identity.
Act Three - The protagonists summon the courage to overcome inner obstacles and allow each other in
8, Climax - Fear threatens the potential of the relationship one last time. It's make or break time. How do the characters' prove that they don't want to continue without the other anymore?
9, Resolution - Characters are now willing to put their relationship first, perhaps with a sacrifice . They are perfect for each other and are now completely together.
